What it does
The CareMyCase Ethics Advisor provides attorneys with real-time, jurisdiction-specific guidance on complex legal ethics scenarios. Using an advanced retrieval pipeline, it searches through official state bar rules and ethics opinions, then synthesizes a compliant, cited answer to questions involving fee-sharing, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
How to connect to Claude

Open Claude Settings
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors and click "Add custom connector".

Enter the CareMyCase MCP URL
Paste the following URL into the connector configuration:
https://caremycase.com/api/mcp - 3
Sign in
Claude will briefly redirect you to CareMyCase to securely sign in with your account. Once authenticated, you will be redirected back to Claude.

Ask an ethics question
You're all set! Claude will now automatically detect when you ask legal ethics questions and consult the CareMyCase advisor. Try asking: "I am a NY attorney referring a personal injury case to an NJ attorney. How should we structure the fee split?"

Privacy & Security
- No client data collection: The advisor queries public ethics rules and bar opinions only. Do not include sensitive client PII in your prompts.
- Read-only access: The Claude integration cannot write to, edit, or delete any of your cases or referrals on CareMyCase.
- Secure transmission: All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS/TLS.
- Audit trail: You can review a log of all ethics questions you've asked Claude in your CareMyCase account dashboard.
